Welcome to the homepage for the VIII Symposium of Mexican Students.
The Symposium is to be held on Friday 2nd of July 2010 and The University of Manchester through the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences and the Manchester Mexican Society are delighted to invite you to this event. This website is intended to provide attendees with updates on the event including news of Keynote Speakers and confirmation of the Programme Schedule which we are aiming to release early June. There is also a great deal of practical information including details of registration, booking accommodation and getting to Manchester.

Symposium Aims and Objectives
The Symposium is an annual meeting aimed at providing a forum for Mexican students to present their work, exchange knowledge and ideas. The symposium also provides an opportunity for students from Mexico and other nationalities to share and discuss their research with Mexican nationals, members of the academia, government and industry. Furthermore, the event is an excellent opportunity for networking and meeting similar-minded people.
The programme consists of a series of themed sessions in which students will be able to present their research. In additional there will be a number of keynote lectures delivered by distinguished speakers from Mexico. A poster display will be also held during the day.
